Night Blossom belongs to The Wonderful Morning Dreams of Alice, a series dedicated to the delicate interval where dreams slowly become consciousness. Rather than illustrating dream imagery, the paintings inhabit the quiet logic of dreaming itself, allowing perception to emerge gradually through colour, rhythm and light.

Across its luminous surface, deep violets and nocturnal blues give rise to vibrant passages of white, crimson, rose and incandescent orange. Layers overlap transparently, creating a living atmosphere in which forms continually appear and dissolve. Nothing remains completely fixed. The painting evolves as an unfolding experience rather than a completed image.

Within Ovidiu Kloșka’s artistic practice, beauty is discovered through improbable configurations that gradually achieve an unexpected internal coherence. Rhythm, transparency, gesture, colour and texture interact intuitively until the composition reveals relationships that could never have been planned. The bloom suggested by the title is therefore not an object but a moment of emergence—a brief flowering of perception within the dream itself.

Darkness is never presented as absence. Instead, it becomes a fertile space from which light slowly grows. Every luminous gesture seems to arise naturally from the surrounding atmosphere, preserving the fragile ambiguity characteristic of the moments immediately before awakening.
