The Hidden Angel of the First Light belongs to The Wonderful Morning Dreams of Alice, a series devoted to the fragile interval between dreaming and awakening, where perception has not yet settled into certainty and imagination continues to shape reality. Rather than describing dreams, the paintings inhabit their logic, allowing forms, colours and gestures to emerge with the quiet inevitability of early morning light.

On its monumental 140 × 140 cm surface, luminous blues, translucent violets, radiant whites and vibrant passages of turquoise and magenta expand into an atmosphere that seems both intimate and boundless. Every layer contributes to a continuous process of appearance and disappearance. Forms are never imposed upon the viewer; they slowly reveal themselves, inviting prolonged contemplation rather than immediate recognition.

The hidden angel suggested by the title is not presented as a defined figure. It exists as an elusive presence emerging from the painting’s internal rhythms, appearing only when gesture, transparency and light momentarily converge.
