The Childhood of Chaos 10 belongs to Beyond the Inside, a series investigating the emergence of perception before images become fixed. Rather than representing an external landscape, the painting explores the moment in which visual experience begins to organize itself into meaningful relationships.

The title introduces chaos not as disorder but as a state of unlimited possibility. Childhood becomes a metaphor for the earliest stages of perception, when forms remain fluid, boundaries uncertain and every visual event carries the potential to become something new. The painting therefore examines the birth of coherence rather than the depiction of instability.

Colour, transparency and gestural movement unfold through successive layers that preserve the visible memory of their making. Forms appear only provisionally before dissolving into new relationships, allowing the surface to remain active and continuously evolving. The image resists immediate recognition, encouraging a slower encounter in which perception gradually discovers its own structure.
