“The Hidden Angel of the First Light” continues Ovidiu Kloska’s exploration of the threshold between dream and awakening, shaping a space where matter and light merge into a metaphysical landscape. Emerging from The Wonderful Morning Dreams of Alice, the work extends a visual diary of inner journeys, dissolving boundaries between memory and invention, the intimate and the cosmic.

The surface breathes with subtle intensity: deep indigo and violet dissolve into translucent layers, interrupted by radiant bursts of turquoise, magenta, and crystalline white. These contrasts evoke the fragile moment when a dream becomes image—luminous, unstable, and suspended between presence and disappearance.

Within this shifting field, a winged presence appears only as suggestion, formed through gesture and light. The angel is not a fixed figure but a fleeting state of being, acting as both protector and messenger, binding darkness and illumination, hope and mystery.

Resisting narrative closure, the painting unfolds as a subconscious text of textures and hidden signs, inviting the viewer into a threshold shaped by perception, silence, and imagination.
