The Dome of Inner Horizons belongs to Beyond the Inside, a series exploring the gradual emergence of perception through painting. The dome suggested by the title is not an architectural structure but a metaphor for the invisible framework through which experience becomes coherent. It represents the interior horizon where memory, sensation and awareness slowly organize themselves into a unified field of perception.

The composition develops through luminous whites, muted violets, mineral greys and translucent layers that continuously reveal and conceal one another. Gestural passages remain suspended between definition and dissolution, allowing forms to emerge only partially before returning to the atmosphere from which they arose. Rather than describing a place, the painting constructs an environment where perception itself becomes the primary subject.

Within Ovidiu Kloșka’s artistic practice, beauty arises through improbable configurations that gradually reach an unexpected internal coherence. Colour, rhythm, transparency, gesture, light and material establish relationships that cannot be fully predicted in advance. The artist does not impose order upon the painting but creates the conditions in which order can quietly emerge.

The idea of the horizon is equally transformed. It no longer marks the meeting of earth and sky but the continually shifting boundary between what has already become visible and what is still waiting to appear.
