All the Sky in a Single Wing is a large-scale contemporary abstract painting that explores the mysterious relationship between flight, light, and transformation. Part of the series Alisa’s Wonderful Morning Dreams, the work invites the viewer into a liminal space where memory, imagination, and perception merge into a single unfolding experience.
Rather than representing a bird or a wing in a literal sense, the painting evokes the sensation of expansion itself. Translucent layers of color, gestural marks, textures, and luminous passages intertwine within a fluid visual architecture, creating the impression of a form emerging from pure energy. The wing becomes both presence and possibility—a symbol of freedom, ascent, and the desire to transcend visible boundaries.
Delicate violets, atmospheric blues, soft pinks, silvery whites, and deep shadowed accents interact in a continuous process of appearance and disappearance.
