The Angel of Quantum Radiance belongs to The Book of Angels, an ongoing series in which the angel is understood not as a religious figure but as a metaphysical presence inhabiting the subtle interval between the visible and the invisible. Rather than depicting a celestial being, the painting explores the quiet emergence of consciousness through gesture, atmosphere and light.

Built through successive layers of colour, translucent veils and expressive calligraphic marks, the composition develops as a living field of perception. Forms never fully crystallize into representation; they appear only momentarily before dissolving again into luminous space. This continual transformation allows the painting to remain open, inviting contemplation rather than interpretation.

Within Ovidiu Kloșka’s artistic practice, beauty is not imposed upon the surface but discovered through improbable configurations that gradually reach a state of internal coherence. Rhythm, transparency, colour, texture and gesture interact intuitively until the painting reveals an unexpected order. The angel emerges naturally from these relationships, becoming an experience rather than an image.

The title introduces Quantum Radiance as a poetic metaphor for invisible interconnectedness.
