And the Spirit Shall Live On belongs to The Wonderful Morning Dreams of Alice, a series that inhabits the delicate interval between dreaming and awakening. Rather than illustrating dreams, these paintings recreate their fluid logic, where memory, imagination and perception merge into a continuously evolving visual experience.

The composition unfolds through successive layers of colour, luminous transparencies and expressive gestures that never fully settle into stable forms. Deep tonal passages, radiant whites and subtle chromatic accents generate a living atmosphere in which every element appears suspended between emergence and disappearance. The painting seems less constructed than gradually revealed, as though it were remembering itself.
