Where the Night Forgets Itself in the Eyes of Dawn belongs to The Wonderful Morning Dreams of Alice, a series in which dreams become spaces of transformation rather than escape. The paintings inhabit the fragile interval between sleep and awakening, where memory, imagination and perception momentarily lose their boundaries.

Through successive layers of luminous colour, expressive gestures and translucent atmospheres, the composition unfolds as a field of continuous emergence. Deep blues, radiant whites, crimson passages and subtle chromatic vibrations suggest an inner landscape where forms remain fluid, suspended between recognition and disappearance. Nothing is fixed; everything is quietly becoming.

Within Ovidiu Kloșka’s artistic practice, beauty is discovered through improbable configurations that gradually achieve internal coherence. Gesture, rhythm, transparency and colour interact intuitively until the painting reveals relationships that could not have been anticipated. Rather than illustrating a dream, the work recreates the emotional logic through which dreams unfold.
