Light is Forever Young belongs to Between the Dark and Divine, a body of work investigating the subtle interval where darkness and light coexist as complementary conditions of perception. Rather than presenting light as a source of illumination, the painting explores its capacity to remain present within memory, material and atmosphere.

Translucent veils, gestural traces and softly articulated chromatic passages unfold across the surface without resolving into fixed forms. The composition remains intentionally open, allowing the viewer to experience the image as a gradual process of emergence rather than immediate recognition. Every gesture preserves the visible memory of those that came before, creating a surface shaped by accumulated time.

Within Ovidiu Kloșka’s artistic practice, beauty emerges through improbable configurations that gradually achieve an inevitable internal coherence. Colour, rhythm, transparency, gesture and material evolve together until the painting discovers its own balance. The image is therefore not constructed around representation but around relationships that slowly reveal themselves through attentive observation.

The title suggests that light possesses its own permanence. It remains continually capable of renewal, independent of age or circumstance.
